Prayers for Children

Lord,

Tonight I pray for kids that do not have any extra. I pray they would find something special to call their own. My kids have all they want and not because I give them everything, but because there are so many people around to take care of them. They are not hungry or cold. My family has the means to buy them a new coat if need by. What about the ones that are not so lucky? Who will give them seconds, or firsts? Who will buy them a coat? Who will make sure they have a toy to play with? How do we balance things out? Some families have so much and some so few...Can't we share? Lord, teach me how. Show me how to help where I can. What can I do? Guide me and teach me. Lead me where I should be.

Keep them warm and fed. Help them find the help they need.

Prayers for Children

Lord,

I have been talking with you a lot lately. It feels good. Sometimes I wish I had a person here to talk to, but at least I know You listen. Last night was tough and talking to You seemed to calm and relax me. Sometime in the night I was able to drift off for a couple of hours.

Tonight I pray that all the kids could have someone in their lives to listen. Not just to sit and stare, but to really take it all in. A person to show kindness and interest. Lord, I ask You to put that person in their lives. I know they should talk and pray to You, but they also need someone here to help them. A person to guide them and show them the way, Your way.

Prayers

Lord,

I am having a hard time being selfless. I cannot seem to think of others while things in my own life are raging. I am trying to be calm and peaceful, but not having much luck. Please help me. I need you.

I am trying to take this time to pray for others. Please be with all the children. The babies, the older ones and all in between. Love them, care for them. Be a guide in their lives. Give them that one person that makes a difference. I would pray they see You and hear You and know and follow You.

I pray for my friend P. May she hear You and be guided by You as she makes her way through life.

I pray for the ladies at M. I hope they are refreshed and learn about You. Some have not found a church to call home and I would pray they are led to find one. May each person find the voice to invite someone to share their Sunday.

I pray for my family. I pray that we could all communicate and get along. That we could be understanding and to help fill the needs of others.

I pray for me, my husband and kids. I desire us all to know You, though I am not sure how. We attend church in an effort to learn more, but we are not following through with more. I pray each night and hope You hear me. I ask for help and guidance as I clearly do not know what to do. My mind has been churning with thoughts and ideas, but I have done nothing to act on them. I am not sure where to turn so I have stayed still.

Lord, I pray all these things in Jesus Christ, Amen.

Prayer for Me

Lord,

Sometimes I do not understand the plan You have for me. In the long run I hope to know, and I understand that I may never really know. Right now I am upset and trying hard not to fight You on this. There must be a reason. I look forward to this each week and to have to miss it is making me very sad. To have to miss out just hours before the start is making me even more sad. I know it is wrong, but all I want right now is some sympathy. Hearing someone tell me it is OK and even ask how I am would comfort me. So I am asking You to help me. Help me relax. Help me feel better. Help me heal - quickly. Help me understand Your plan. In short, help me, please.

Prayers for Children

Lord,

What a wonder children are. They confuse, anger, love, teach and melt your heart all in the span of a minute. How do you lead them? How do you teach them and not get overcome? I am overwhelmed by the frustration and love I feel. How do I get past it? I pray for peace. Peace in my heart and mind, knowing You are there to guide me and help me. Help me know when to give them guidance and when to let them learn on their own. Please, help me be the mother You created me to be. The one that loves, yet teaches.

For those that are hungry, I pray for a meal. For those that are cold, I pray for shelter. For those that are lonely, I pray for love. Be with them. Give them hope, faith and love.
