For Children

Dear Lord,

Thank you for all your wonders. You give us each precious life, our very breath. What a miracle when you give us a life within ourselves. A baby. Science has defined how babies grow inside of us, but it is your miracle that it happens. Babies teach us more than they learn from us. You have given us such a gift. I would pray that everyone understands just how precious a gift they have. I pray for all the kids that have not. The ones that are hungry, cold, homeless, lonely, scared and/or hurting. I ask that you lead us to make a change, even a simple change that could affect the life of a child in need. Help us link each other so that those with can give to those without.

Lord, my kids are so much to me. I could never deny them basic needs, food, water, shelter or the touch of someone that loves them. To know there are others out there that cannot provide makes my heart ache. I pray that a change would come.
