Prayers for Children

Lord,

You know what kind of day it has been. So good. Even the bad, was good. Thank you for all my days. I seem to learn something new each time. Today I learned my kids can be good if given the chance. I was filled with dread before the day started, but as they smiled and played my fears were blown away.

I pray for the other kids not given a chance to prove themselves. The kids that are never given freedom to play, smile and giggle. Lord, I pray those kids would be in Your heart and favor. I pray they would know the breeze on their faces. I pray they would giggle out loud in the innocent way children do. Lord, I pray you will watch over them, protect them and be with them until that day comes.
